Marc DEOTTE est photographe depuis quelques dizaines d’années.
Il a collaboré à différents magazines : Géo , Match . . . Marc est organisateur de plusieurs festivals de photographie.
En Afrique et en Amérique du Sud , son travail est axé sur les gens et les peuples ; leurs traces et leurs écrits. En France sur le patrimoine et l’architecture vinicoles typiques en Languedoc et à présent en déconstruction rapide. Il a toujours photographié avec le procédé argentique , sans aucune transformation de la réalité.
In short ; a real work on the passage of time without any nostalgia ,
keeping in mind that everything can be photographed , watchable and even
become aesthetic and maybe much more according to the way that we have
to look at things and to be curious.
Marc DEOTTE is a photographer for several decades. He has contributed to various magazines : Géo , Match . . . Marc is an organizer of several photography festivals. In Africa and in South America , his work focuses on people and populations ;
their tracks and their writings. In France , he has always worked on heritage and typical architectural wine domain buildings in Languedoc which are in rapidly deconstruction. His work is a subject of publication in several books. He always photographed with film process cameras , without any transformation of reality.
